It always seems impossible…until it is done.

In April 2018, RPS announced the construction of the Berkeley County Recycling and Recovery Facility in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The facility is slated to begin operations in early 2019.

With minimal programs in place and a community demanding recycling, Berkeley County chose RPS to deliver the most comprehensive and cost effective recycling program to its constituents, preserve the municipality’s landfill by landfilling less waste, provide a clean fuel resource to local industry, and create quality green jobs for Berkeley citizens and industry supporting the overall growth and prosperity of the community. The vision of Berkeley County is to serve as a county in which all citizens can participate in and enjoy a community enriched by sustainable growth, responsible and responsive government, environmental stewardship, cultural opportunity and diversity.
